    Hi Gonemadd,

    You can look up stuff on the FTB server through the NEI. Open your inventory, you should have a little search bar down the bottom that you can type key words into and a list of things on the right hand side. If you do not, press O and it should show it. Shelves are made by 3 wooden slabs on the top row, 1 plank block in the middle and 3 more wooden slabs along the bottom row.

    Just running around through an Mystcraft Age I made and saw this little guy...

    If you can't make it out, it looked like a little blue bird. It flew around me, about 10 blocks away, for a few seconds, then zoomed off. I tried to keep up, but lost it. Have not seen it since.
    The age is a Coral Shore/Single/Standard World/Zentith & Zero Phase Normal Sun & Moon/Normal Stars/No Weather. I did not clear modifiers so it has some randomness. Floating islands, different colors, and caves.
