    Some of you may have heard some rumors here and there about the following and some may have guessed this was coming from the recent rebuild of the PvP server followed by the mining world rebuild..

    The staff at ImDeity have been working over the past month or two on a full rebuild of the main ImDeity server. The 1.3 release of Minecraft broke many plugins on our server and since it had been 10 months since our last reset (at the time of the previous reset in December 2011, we had been on that map for around 7 months -- far longer than most servers wait between map resets), we felt a full rebuild of the server was the best approach.

    In the next few days, we will be relaunching the ImDeity main world with a brand new map with all the Minecraft 1.3 terrain features. We also have a brand new version of the Kingdoms plugin, Kingdoms v2.0, that resolves many of the performance issues and adds new features like "kingdoms" (multiple towns band together to form a kingdom). The mcMMO skill system that has been tested on the mining world for the past few weeks will be available on the main map at the time of the relaunch.

    This rebuild will require a full reset and thus there will be a brand new map and all town, inventory, and economy data will be reset. Anyone that has an active donation plan will be given the Dei associated with their donation plan at the time of the relaunch.

    Thanks to everyone that has stuck with us the past few weeks even with all the bugs and instability that popped up with the Minecraft 1.3 release. We hope you will continue to stay with us as we rebuild and relaunch to provide you with the quality and experience you have come to expect from us here at ImDeity Kingdoms.

    I know this is for the benefit of the server but I cant deny it. Im going to miss Ayres<3

    Anyways, looking forward to a fresh start! New towns, new people but most of all new experiences! :)

    So Question, All of the current tows go bye-bye, I know that the Builds and the map go. but if somebody has a town it will still be there for them to re-build, or so we have to re-make it. (just a question. Never been through a reset before...)

    and on that bombshell i think i will just download the map if that is an option? i want my town so i can work on it on my own server if i have to.
    while a reset no doubt benefits the server. it tastes bad because of all the hard work me and my town staff have put in over the past month. and indeed on the server no lifing on countless nights over the past 10 months. my fledgling town was just starting to look awesome. and starting over doesnt sound remotely appealing, we just finished moving mountains. im gonna have to have a long hard think about whether i want to do it again, whats to say in another 2 months there wont be another reset for the new year? well i hope everyone is happy they got what they wished for. but not i

    I'm a non paying user. I've worked myself Up to 12k dei Which in my opinion took great deal of time for me to get. I'm not sure if some of the non paying users are also with this rebuild. And im losing my beloved town. Sadly now I will have to start over.

    Will the mcmmo stats be carried over? And why not wait until minecraft releases 1.4 to get that map generation because you know people will complain about something that they want in the 1.4 worlds.
